Today, high population growth rates in underdeveloped and developing countries constitute a very important social and economic problem. Studies are needed addressing the factors that affect fertility behavior and lay the groundwork for the development of effective policies in this regard, in Turkey having a high population growth rate and high interregional differences in fertility. Looking at the rate of population growth of the province in Turkey, it is seen that there is an increase in general. It is important to determine whether this increase is due to the immigration of the province or the increases that occur in the fertility of the individuals, and in which direction the fertility behaviors of migrating person. The aim of this study is to investigate the factors affecting fertility behavior of married women under the framework of migratory fertility hypothesis with selectivity, adaptation and disruptive effect in Turkey with the Robust Poisson regression model using Hacettepe University Population Studies Institute's 2013 Turkey Demographic and Health Survey raw data. According to the findings obtained this study, it is concluded that the adaptation and disruptive hypotheses is valid in Turkey and the selectivity hypothesis is not valid.
