Abstract:

Since organizational culture is considered as one of the important factors for organizational effectiveness, cultural leadership has emerged in the field of leadership principles as cultural leader should both analyze the values present in the school culture and protect them for the benefits of society. The purpose of this paper is to determine the level of realization of cultural leadership. Behaviours of principles through the perceptions of principles and teachers. The related questionnaire was administered to 58 principals and 200 teachers. According to the results of the study while principles found themselves competent enough to realize the cultural leadership behaviors, teachers did not find principles competent enough for cultural leadership.
