The aim of this research is the examination of the candidate music teachers` self-efficacies, in terms of different variables (gender, class level, success average and type of the high school graduated). The sample of the research consists of 80 candidate music teachers from Selçuk University Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Music Education, who are currently continuing their education and training. The data were gathered in 2010-2011 academic year. As the data-acquisition tool, Candidate Music Teacher Self-Efficacy Scale developed by Kurtuldu (2010) was used. In the analysis of the data, SPSS 15.0 packaged software was used and t-test, one way analysis of variance (Anova) and analysis of percentage frequency were applied.
