Abstract:

ÖZET Batı Anadolu'da 17.500 km2lik bir alan kaplayan Gediz Akarsuyu Havzası; doğuda, İçbatı Anadolu'daki Mura t Dağından başlar ve orta mecralarda beraberinde birçok tali kollan da alarak, batıda Foça'nın güneyinde Ege Denizi'nde son bulur (Şekil 1). Havza içindeki mevcut akarsu, doğal göl ve baraj gölleri zengin biyolojik özelliklere sahiptir. Bu özelliğinden dolayı da önemli bir balık üretim potansiyeline sahiptir. Bu potansiyelin tamamı bugün çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı değerlendirilememektedir. Diğer taraftan, yapılacak olan baraj golleriyle bu potansiyeli bir kat daha arttırmak mümkündür. ABSTRACT In the Western Anatolia the Gedi z River Basin, whieh covers 17.500 k m2, at the East of the Interior Western Anatolia begins from Mura t Mountain and by taking many secondary branches with itself too, at the w.est of'the southern side of Foç a drains into Aegean Sea (Fig. 1). The rivers, naturel lakes and dam lakes in the basin have rich biologic features. The Gedi z River Basin h as also an important potential of fish productoin due to this feature. However, ali of this potential could not be used because of different reasons. Furthermore , it is possibie to make fısh production potential double with dam lakes will be built.
