Türk İslamcılığı, modern Türk düşüncesinin en önemli alanlarından birisini ifade eder. Türk düşünce geleneğinin modernleşme problemine bir cevabı mahiyetinde olan Türk İslamcılığı, Osmanlı modernleşme tecrübesinden beri kendini farklı mütefekkirlerin elinden gösterir. Türkiye’de İslamcılık düşüncesi denildiğinde akla gelen önemli isimlerden biri şüphesiz İsmet Özel olur. Özel, şair ve düşünce adamı kimliğiyle ortaya koyduğu eserlerinde İslamcılık düşüncesinin modernleşme devrinden beri çözmeye çalıştığı sorunlara yönelik yeni ve farklı yaklaşımlar ortaya koyar. Özellikle teknik ve medeniyet gibi İslamcılık düşüncesinin en fazla benimsediği ve sık kullandığı kavramları tartışmaya açması onun yerini daha da önemli bir hale getirir. Özel’in düşünce dünyasını ortaya koyduğu kavramlar zamanla değişir ve özellikle 2007 yılında İstiklâl Marşı Derneği’nin kurulmasının ardından milliyetçi bir niteliğe bürünür. Dernek bünyesinde gerçekleştirilen konferans, internet sitesi yazıları ve dergi yayını gibi faaliyetlerde bu dilin hâkimiyeti daha belirgin hale gelir. İlk dönemden beri sürekli olarak düşünce dünyasının bir tarafını teşekkül ettiren “dünya sistemi” kavramı, özellikle bu dönemden itibaren Türklük ve milliyetçilik ile beraber işlevselleştirilmeye çalışılır. Bu çalışmada, işaret edilen kavramlar, Özel’in İstiklâl Marşı Derneği tarafından neşredilen Çelimli Çalım mecmuasındaki yazılarında, İslamcılık düşüncesi çerçevesinde ortaya konulacak ve tetkik edilecektir. Çalışmanın temel fikri, Özel’in düşünce dünyasının geçmişten günümüze İslamcı bir nitelik arz ettiği fakat özün aynı kalıp formun değiştiği, fikirler değişmezken onları ifade etme tarzında farklılaşma olduğudur. Kullandığı dili dönemin problemleri etrafında şekillendiren Özel’in bu kullanım tarzı, onun kavram dünyasına derinlikli bir bakış ile açıkça ortaya çıkacaktır. Yani bu dönemde İsmet Özel’in kullandığı dilde İslamcılık milliyetçilik olarak, İslam ise Türklük olarak karşımıza çıkmakta fakat işaret edilen hususlar aynı kalmaktadır.
Turkish Islamism expresses one of the most important areas of modern Turkish thought. Turkish Islamism, which is an answer to the modernization problem of Turkish thought tradition, has shown itself from the hands of different scholars since the Ottoman modernization experience. When we speak of Islamism thought in Turkey, one of the important names that comes to mind is the name Special beyond doubt. Special, put forward new and different approaches to the problems Islamism thought tries to solve since modernization age in his works he wrote with his poet and thinker identity. In particular, the fact that he tries to discuss the terms Islamism thought accepts and used most such as technique and civilization, makes his position even more important. The concepts that Special puts forward the world of thought change over time and become a nationalist character especially after the establishment of the National Anthem Association in 2007. The dominance of this language becomes more evident in activities such as conferences, web site articles and magazine publications held within the Association. The concept of the "world system", which has consistently formed a side of the world of thought since the first period, has been tried to be functionalized especially with Turkishness and nationalism since this period. In this study, the concepts mentioned will be put forward and examined within the framework of the thought of Islamism in the writings of Special in Chelimli Çalım magazine published by the Turkish National Anthem Association. The hypothesis of the study is that Special's world of thought has an Islamist character from the past to the present, but that the essence is the same pattern and the form has changed, and there is a difference in the way he expresses them while the ideas remain the same. This style of use of Special, which shapes his language around the problems of the period, will be revealed with a deep look at his concept world. Thus, it can be said that Islamism is seen as nationalism and Islam is seen as Turkishness in the language used by Ismet Special during this period, but the issues that were pointed out remain the same.
