İlahiyat Fakültesi Öğrencilerine Verilen Arapça Hazırlık Eğitimine Dair Bir İnceleme

Kadim bir dil olan Arapça, İslamiyet’in gelişiyle birlikte kutsal bir kitap olan Kur’an-ı Kerim’in dili olmuş, günümüze kadar varlığını ve önemini korumuştur. Anadili Arapça olmayanlara bu dilin öğretilmesi için farklı coğrafya ve farklı dönemlerde medreselerde veya devletin resmi eğitim kurumlarında Arapça dersleri verilmiştir. Verilen Arapça eğitimlerinde nahiv ve sarf temelli bir eğitim uygulanmıştır. Gramere dayalı bu dil eğitimi İlahiyat veya İslami İlimler fakültelerinde verilen eğitimlerle daha ileri bir seviyeye taşınmaya çalışılmıştır. İlahiyat veya İslami İlimler fakültelerinde verilen Arapça eğitimleri temelde dört beceriyi (okuma, yazma, konuşma, dinleme) kazandırma odaklı hazırlanmıştır. Ancak gramer odaklı verilmeye çalışılan Arapça eğitimlerinde hedeflenen başarı elde edilememektedir. Bu araştırmanın konusu, İlahiyat veya İslami İlimler fakültelerinde okutulan Arapça hazırlık eğitiminin değerlendirilmesi ve bu eğitimin kalitesinin arttırılması için yapılması gerekenlerdir. Bu doğrultuda bu çalışmada Bitlis Eren Üniversitesi İslami İlimler Fakültesi %30 Zorunlu Arapça Hazırlık Sınıflarının 2018-2019 Eğitim ve Öğretim Yılında aldıkları Arapça eğitimi model alınmıştır. Hazırlık Sınıflarında Arapça eğitimi alan 90 öğrenciye 33 sorudan oluşan anket uygulanmıştır. Anket sonuçları değerlendirilmiş ve verilen Arapça eğitiminin kalitesi ortaya konulmuştur. Elde edilen sonuçlardan hareketle, verilen eğitimde eksik ve hatalı durumlar tespit edilerek, eğitimin daha kaliteli bir düzeye ulaştırılması için önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Giriş bölümünde İlahiyat veya İslami İlimler fakültelerindeki Arapça eğitimi hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Sonrasında çalışmanın amacı, önemi, sınırlılıkları, problemi ve örneklem ortaya konulmuştur. Fakültede uygulanan Arapça hazırlık eğitimi hakkında bilgiler verilmiş ve uygulanan anket çalışmaya eklenmiştir. Son olarak bulgular ve yorumlar verilerek çalışma sonuç ve öneriler ile sonlandırılmıştır.

A review of the Arabic Preparatory Education provided to the School of Theology students

Arabic, an ancient language, has become the language of the Qur’an with the advent of Islam, and thus it retained its originality and has become the center of great interest by the people. Therefore in order to teach this language to non-native speakers of Arabic, Arabic classes have been given in official educational institutions of the states in different geographies and periods in the world. In Arabic education, grammar and vocabulary based approach was applied. This grammar-based language education has been tried to be taken to a higher level with the education given in the faculties of Theology or Islamic Sciences. The Arabic education offered at the faculties of Theology or Islamic Sciences is mainly focused on acquiring four skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening). However, it is not possible to the desired success in grammar-oriented Arabic training. The subject of this research is the evaluation of Arabic language preparatory education in the faculties of Theology or Islamic Sciences and the things that should be done to improve the quality of this education. Accordingly, in this study, the Arabic education model of the Compulsory Arabic Preparatory Classes of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences of Bitlis Eren University in the 2018-2019 Academic Year was taken as a basic. A questionnaire consisting of 33 questions was administered to 90 students who studied Arabic in preparatory classes. The results of the survey were evaluated and the quality of the Arabic education given was demonstrated. Based on the results obtained, deficiencies in education were identified and suggestions were made to improve the quality of education. In the research primarily, information about Arabic education in the faculties of Theology or Islamic Sciences is given. Moreover, information was given about the Arabic preparatory education applied in the faculty and the questionnaire was added to the study. Finally, findings and comments were given and the study was concluded with conclusions and recommendations.
