Abstract:

With the change in the form of mass communication tools, the new media also affects the motivation of users not only to communicate and communicate. Traditional media tools, which are quickly integrated into the Internet and social media, use their applications for mobile devices for the purpose of broadcasting news, whether social media platforms are needed. The last minute notifications of mobile applications, which are interested by smartphone users with the aim of taking up immediate developments, have become an important means of receiving news. In this study in Turkey app stores frequently downloaded mobile applications in the last minute news reports, how the news is selected, how much click hunting is used, whether traditional and digital-born news organizations have differences in this sense. The results of the analyses have shown that the mobile notifications used to communicate to users largely very important developments have a significant role in the election news and the campaign statements of the politicians, and the content of the notifications has an unbalanced distribution of the activity and statements of power and opposition politicians. It is also found that traditional media and internet-born news organizations, even in mobile communications, applied significantly to the click hole.
