İmam-Hatip Liselerinde Çalışan Öğretmenlerin Mesleki Sorunlarının Analizi ve Çözüm Önerileri

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, imam-hatip liselerinde çalışan öğretmenlerin mesleki sorunlarının belirlenmesidir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik yaklaşıma göre tasarlanmıştır. Çalışma grubu, amaçlı nitel araştırma örneklem yöntemlerinden maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemesi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma grubunu Ankara ilinin çeşitli imam-hatip liselerinde çalışan 58 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanması amacıyla bir görüşme formu kullanılmış ve görüşmeler kayıt altına alınmıştır. Görüşmelerle elde edilen veriler, içerik analizine tabi tutularak nitel veri analizi yöntemlerinden olan Miles-Huberman modeli ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenlerin sorun olarak belirlediği ilk beş tema: “Din eğitimi, öğretmen, öğrenci, okul yöneticileri ve üst yönetim kaynaklı sorunlar” olarak belirlenmiştir. Din eğitimi literatüründe öğretmenlerin mesleki sorunlarını ele alan çalışma olması ve okullarda yaşanan çeşitli ve çok sayıda soruna ilişkin nitelikli bilimsel veri sunması, bu araştırmanın önemine vurgu yapmaktadır. İmam-hatip liselerinde karşılaşılan mesleki sorunlara ilişkin din eğitimi politika belirleyiciler ile akademik çevrelerin dikkatini çekmeyi hedefleyen bu araştırmanın, literatürdeki önemli bir boşluğu kapatacağı ve konuya ilişkin ilgi uyandıracağı umulmaktadır.

Analysis and Solution of Professional Problems of Teachers Working at Imam-Hatip High School

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to identify the professional problems of teachers working in the imam-hatip high schools. The research is designed according to a phenomenological approach from the quality research methods. The work group is determined by using the maximum variety of sampling of the purposes of quality research sampling methods. The work group consists of 58 teachers working in various imam-hatip high schools in Ankara. A conversation form was used for the purpose of gathering data and the conversations were recorded. The data obtained through conversations was analyzed by the Miles-Huberman model, which is a quality data analysis method, subject to content analysis. According to the research results, the first five topics that teachers identify as a problem were defined as "religious education, teachers, students, school managers and top management issues". The fact that teachers in religious education literature are working on professional problems and providing qualified scientific data on the various and numerous issues that occur in schools emphasizes the importance of this research. This research, which aims to attract the attention of the policy determiners and academic environments regarding the professional problems faced in the Imam-hatip high schools, is hoped to close a significant gap in literature and raise interest in the subject.

The aim of this study is to determine the professional problems of teachers working in imam-hatip (religious vocational) high schools. The research is designed according to the phenomenological approach, one of the qualitative research methods. The study group consisted of 58 teachers working in Ankara and was determined by maximum diversity sampling among purposive qualitative research sampling methods. The data obtained from the interviews analyzed with Miles-Huberman model which is one of the qualitative data analysis methods. According to the results of the research, the first five themes that teachers identified as problems were: “Religious education, teachers, students, school administrators and senior management problems”. The fact that this study deals with teachers' professional problems in religious education literature and presents qualified scientific data on various and many problems experienced in schools emphasizes the importance of this research. It is hoped that this study, which aims to attract the attention of policy makers and religious circles regarding the professional problems encountered in imam-hatip high schools, will close an important gap in the literature and arouse interest on the subject.
