Türkler arasında en yaygın tarikatlardan biri olan Halvetiyye, nefsin kötülükten ve günahtan arındırılmasını esas almaktadır. Bunun için de etvâr-ı seb’a denilen metot kullanılmaktadır. Özellikle Halvetî tarikatına mensup çoğu mutasavvıf nefsin yedi mertebesine işaret eden bu yedi tavır üzerine pek çok eser kaleme almıştır. Bu tarikatın önemli isimlerinden olan Cemâl-i Halvetî’nin de konuyla ilgili birkaç risâlesi olduğu bilinmektedir. Ayrıca son dönemde yayımlanmış olan Esrâr-ı Garîbe adlı mesnevisinde de bu konuyu ele aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Esrâr-ı Garîbe klasik mesnevi tertibine uygun olarak yazılmıştır. Tevhidle başlayan eser sırasıyla Hz. Peygamber (sav), Hz. Ebubekir, Hz. Ömer, Hz. Osman, Hz. Ali, Hz. Hasan ve Hüseyin için yazılan na’tlerle devam etmektedir. Ardından eseri kaleme alma sebebinden bahseden şair Âgâz-ı Kitâb başlığıyla asıl konuya geçmiştir. Bu bölümde önce tasavvufî olarak kalbin yedi tavrına sonra her tavrın arkasından o tavırla ilgili bir hikâyeye yer vermiştir. Bölümün sonuna doğru kalplerin tavırlarının temsillerini tek tek ele almış, yedi peygamberi yedi tavrın temsili olarak belirlemiştir. Şair her tavrı Kur’an’dan ayetlerle de desteklemiştir. Bu çalışmada Cemâl-i Halvetî’nin Esrâr-ı Garîbe adlı mesnevisi Halvetiyye’deki etvâr-ı seb’a yazma geleneği açısından değerlendirilmiş ve bu gelenek içerisindeki önemi ortaya konulmuştur.

In this chapter he first tasavvufically put a story about that attitude behind every attitude after the seven attitudes of the heart. At the end of the chapter he addressed the representations of the attitudes of the hearts individually, and determined the seven prophets as representatives of the seven attitudes. The poet has all the signs of the Qur’an. In this study, Cemâl-i Halvetî’s Mesnevisi Esrâr-i Garîbe was assessed in terms of the tradition of writing etvâr-i seb in Halvetiyye and the importance of this tradition was revealed.
