ÖZ Bu çalışmanın amacı kadın ziyaretçilerin inanç alanlarındaki beklentilerini ve deneyimlerini betimsel analiz yöntemi ile analiz etmektir. Veriler İzmir’in Ödemiş ilçesinde yer alan Birgivi Türbesi’ni ziyaret eden 50 kadın ziyaretçiden yüz yüze görüşmeler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre kadın ziyaretçilerin çoğunun türbeyi dini nedenlerle ziyaret ettikleri ve Tanrı’dan maddi ve manevi yaşamlarını güzelleştirecek beklentileri olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Kadın ziyaretçilerin çoğunda dini, kültürel ve tarihi beklentiler birlikte görülmüştür. Dini amaç gütmeden sadece farklılık, stres atmak için gelen ziyaretçilerin sayısı nispeten daha azdır. Kadın ziyaretçilerin çoğu ziyaretlerinden memnun kalmıştır. Bu ziyaretçiler mutluluk, huzur ve maneviyat gibi rahatlatıcı deneyimler edinmiştir. The aim of this study is to analyze the expectations and experiences of women visitors in the fields of beliefs through the visual analysis method. The data was collected through face-to-face conversations from 50 women visiting the Birgivi Turbesi located in the Payed District of İzmir. The research finds that most women visitors visit the turbine for religious reasons and expect God to make their physical and spiritual lives better. Most of the women visitors saw religious, cultural and historical expectations together. The only difference in religious purposes is that the number of visitors who come to stress is relatively less. Most of the visitors were pleased. These visitors have gained relaxing experiences such as happiness, peace and spirituality. Keywords: Faith Tourism, Women, Religious Travel Expectations, Religious Travel Experience.
