Abstract:

The objective of this study is to determine the impact of the activities prepared according to the research-based laboratory method and the verifying laboratory method on the strength and movement of third-class science teachers candidates on their achievements, conceptual errors and epistemological beliefs and to reveal the relationship between epistemological beliefs and success and conceptual errors. In the study, 40 teachers candidates in 38 control groups from the experimental group of third-class scientists were selected by appropriate sampling method. Half-experimental methods have been used. As a result of the study, it is not exactly correct to evaluate the candidates for teachers of science by one step while determining the conceptual errors, as the number of stages in the tests increases, there is a change in the conceptual errors. According to the verifying laboratory method of research based on questioning, science has found that it is more effective in improving the success of third-class teachers candidates, removing conceptual errors and developing their epistemological beliefs. It has also been revealed that the success-1 and the concept error-3 points of the teacher candidates are related to the subdimensions of epistemological beliefs and the points taken from the entire scale.
