Abstract:

This study aims to create new and useful ideas for Turkey, especially by studying language teaching practices for immigrant students in European countries. In the countries with many immigrant populations in Europe, situations such as program practices, material development studies, teaching training and administrative structures have been studied and found in different practices. The main reason for these differences is the country of origin, age and reasons for the arrival of migrants to the host country. Another conclusion from the study is that the effective and efficient method of language learning for immigrant students is to include language teaching directly in language teaching instead of in classrooms or schools that are allocated to immigrant students. The curriculum to be applied in language teaching must be in accordance with the class achievements of the student in relation to the age. A single program will not be suitable for all age and class levels. The most important element of language teaching is the training of the teacher. The teaching elaman should be equipped not only with Turkish knowledge but also with skills such as being able to work with students from different cultures and understand them.
