Bu çalışmanın amacı 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin “Işık ve Ses” konusundaki başarılarını ortaya koyacak geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirilmesidir. Bu amaçla kazanımlara uygun olarak bir belirtke tablosu oluşturularak, 24 çoktan seçmeli ve 7 açık uçlu soru hazırlanmıştır. Uzman görüşünün ardından 20 çoktan seçmeli ve 5 açık uçlu soru elde edilmiştir. Testin ilk pilot uygulaması 20 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilerek sorular daha anlaşılır hale getirilmiş ve testin uygulama süresine karar verilmiştir. Hazırlanan test 2015-2016 öğretim yılının bahar döneminde Kayseri’de bulunan altı ortaokulun 6. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 200 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Excel ve SPSS programları ile gerçekleştirilen madde analizi sonucunda bir soru testten çıkarılarak çoktan seçmeli soru sayısı 19’a düşürülmüştür. Son hali verilen başarı testi 19 çoktan seçmeli ve 5 açık uçlu olmak üzere toplamda 24 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Nihai başarı testinin çoktan seçmeli sorularının ortalama madde güçlük ve ayırt edicilik indeksleri sırasıyla 0.64 ve 0.60 olarak, açık uçlu sorularının ortalama madde güçlük ve ayırt edicilik indeksleri ise sırasıyla 0.53 ve 0.66 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Buna göre sorulardan 7’si kolay, 17’si orta güçlükte olup, 24 sorunun tamamı çok iyi ayırt ediciliktedir. Ayrıca, çoktan seçmeli soruların Cronbach alpha güvenirlik katsayısı 0.844 olarak bulunmuştur. Açık uçlu sorular için hesaplanan puanlayıcılar-arası güvenirlik katsayıları 0.70’ten büyük olduğundan, bütün maddeler için puanlayıcılar arasında oldukça yüksek, pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Bu sonuçlar, geliştirilen başarı testinin bilimsel çalışmalarda ve öğretmenlerin değerlendirme süreçlerinde kullanabilecekleri ölçüde geçerli ve güvenilir sonuçlara sahip olduğunu göstermektedir.
The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that will demonstrate the achievements of 6th grade students in the subject of "Light and Sound". For this purpose, a sign tab was created in accordance with the achievements, 24 already selected and 7 open end questions were prepared. After the expert opinion, 20 have already been selected and 5 open end questions have been obtained. The first pilot application of the test was carried out with 20 students, making the questions more clear and the time of application of the test was determined. The prepared test was applied to 200 students who studied in the 6th class of six high school in Kayseri during the spring period of the 2015-2016 academic year. As a result of the material analysis performed with Excel and SPSS programs, a question has been removed from the test and the number of already selectively asked questions has been reduced to 19. The final success test consists of a total of 24 questions, including 19 already selected and 5 open ends. The average matter difficulty and differentiability index for the final success test already selected questions are calculated as 0.64 and 0.60 respectively, while the average matter difficulty and differentiability index for the open end questions are calculated as 0.53 and 0.66 respectively. 7 of the questions are easy, 17 are medium difficult, and 24 are all very well distinguished. Furthermore, the Cronbach alpha reliability ratio for already selectively asked questions was 0.844 . Scorecards-inter-confidence ratio calculated for open end questions 0. Since it is greater than 70, it has been shown that there is a relatively high, positive and meaningful relationship between the scores for all the materials. These findings show that the success test developed has valid and reliable results to the extent that teachers can use in scientific studies and evaluation processes.

As a result of item analysis performed with Excel and SPSS programs, one question was removed from the test and the number of multiple-choice questions was reduced to 19. The final achievement test consists of 24 questions, 19 multiple-choice and 5 open-ended questions, in total. The mean item difficulty and discriminative indexes of the multiple-choice questions of the final form were 0.64 and 0.60, respectively; and the mean item difficulty and discriminative indexes of the open-ended questions were 0.53 and 0.66, respectively. Accordingly, 7 of the questions are easy and 17 of them are of medium difficulty while distinctiveness of the all 24 questions are very well. Additionally, the Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient of the multiple-choice questions was found as 0.844. Since the interrater reliability coefficients calculated for open-ended questions were greater than 0.70, it was seen that there was a very high, positive and significant relationship between the raters for all open-ended items. These results show that the developed achievement test has valid and reliable results to the extent that it can be used in scientific studies and teachers' evaluation processes.
