Abstract:

Ahmet Cevdet Pasha was born in March 1823 in Lofça, Bulgaria. He began his education by taking lessons from the scientists in Lofça at a young age and studied the primary school here. In 1839, when he was 17 years old, he continued to travel to Istanbul to the field of science. He continued to Fatih Medresesi and also read lessons from the important allies of the time.
