Abstract:

Communications technologies are rapidly spreading globally in constant change and transformation. With this progressive technological change, significant impacts are produced in economic, social, cultural and social areas. The number of Internet users and mobile subscribers is increasing worldwide. Communication technology affects the entire community. Information exchange in logistics management takes place very quickly, and internet and mobile solutions recommendations provide high efficiency in the workflow. Because the logistics sector is affected by the change in communication technologies in all areas, along with warehouse management, data management, transportation planning, port operations, vehicle tracking and mobile field operations. With the developments in communications technologies in logistics management, customer satisfaction, quality of service, competitiveness are increasing and labour costs and service times are reduced. In this regard, the developments in communication technologies, along with the effective use in the logistics management activities, provide an increase in the logistics management performance of enterprises. The study revealed the impact of developments in the field of communication technologies on logistics management, the current situation, innovative approaches, opportunities and threats.
