Abstract:

The aim of this research is to identify the impact of the risk culture on the decision-making process by studying the relationship between the risk culture level and the decision-making process of business managers operating in the organized industrial regions of Gaziantep (GOSB). According to the results from the implementation of correlation and regression analyses to the data obtained from the research carried out with the participation of 147 managers working in the GOSB, there is a statistically meaningful and positive relationship between the risk culture and the decision-making process, the risk culture has a meaningful level of explanation of the decision-making process and has a positive impact on it. The study also found that decision making, formalization, focus and risk perception dimensions from the lower dimensions of the risk culture have a meaningful and positive relationship with the decision-making process and explain the decision-making process at a meaningful level. The decision-making process is described by the influence of the decision-making measure from the lower dimensions.
