Abstract:

The purpose of this study, the years 2005-2016 for the Republic of Turkey and Atatürk revolution history lesson MS and PhD theses in terms of various variables. The study was designed with qualitative research method and case study model was used. The study group between the years 2005-2016 constitute graduate theses that have been made concerning the Republic of Turkey and Atatürk revolution history lesson. In this study, sampling method was not used and it was aimed to reach all theses in the universe. Document analysis was used as data collection method. Content analysis method was used to analyze the data. Theses have been categorized by examining in terms of graduate level, university, institute, science of thesis, research type and research group. all made in the Republic of Turkey and Atatürk Revolution History research postgraduate courses which are related to the thesis of masters thesis was found to be close. Most of these theses were done at Gazi University; theses are mostly done in Educational Sciences Institutes; theses were mostly conducted in the field of Social Studies education; only the quarter of the theses indicated the type of research; It is concluded that almost half of the study group of the theses is elementary school students.
