This article is a report on to specify the relationship between the academic achievement on derivative of the 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students who are studying at Elementary Mathematics Department and their learning styles. Kolb 's learning style inventory has been used in order to determine the students’ learning styles. The research has been done among 203 students who have been attending to the 2nd and 3rd class at 9 Eylül University. “Derivative Success Test” which was developed to identify the academic achievement on derivative has been applied to these students. Based on the findings of studies, it may be said that the achievement levels of the undergraduate students’ on derivative are associated with their learning styles.
