This research aims to determine the learning styles of Trakya University Tunca Vocational School distance education students and the impact of their learning styles upon some variables such as gender, age, class-level and the type of program that has been enrolled. This study has been carried out with 311 distance education students during the spring semester of 2010-2011 academic year. Kolb Learning Style Inventory III (KLSI-III) was used in order to determine learning styles of the students. In order to evaluate the obtained data, frequency, percentage, standard deviation and chi square statistical tests were used. The research results demonstrated that the distance education students mainly have Converging and Assimilating learning styles and the learning style preferences of distance education students were not changed according to the gender, age, class level and enrolled program type variables
