Duygusal davranış kurallarına uyum gösterebilmek amacıyla duyguların yönetilmesi olarak bilinen duygusal emek hizmet alanlar ile iletişim halindeyken sergilenmektedir. Çalışanların her zaman işin gerektirdiği şekilde davranması olumlu ya da olumsuz sonuçlara yol açabilmektedir. Akademisyenlerin üniversitelerde gösterdikleri duygusal emek öğrencileri ve kurumları ve kendileri açısından önemli sonuçlara yol açmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı duygusal emek davranışlarını ortaya koyarak, duygusal emeğin tükenmişlik ve işten ayrılma niyetine etkilerini incelemektir. It is exhibited while communicating with emotional labor service areas known as the management of emotions in order to comply with the rules of emotional behavior. The way employees always behave as they need to work can lead to positive or negative consequences. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of emotional labor on burnout and intent to leave the work by revealing emotional labor behaviors. The sample of the research consists of 540 academics working in foundation universities in Istanbul. According to the analysis of the study performed, it was concluded that in-depth emotional labor had a negative effect on burnout and intention to leave the work, and surface emotional labor had a positive effect on burnout and intention to leave the work.
