It is an educational method in which they enter technology using time and space boundaries using technology. In this respect, the use of the method in music education, which adds great flexibility in the teaching-learning center, has now become widespread in the last 10 years. Unfortunately, the method used effectively in our country has not been used in pre-school, general, careful and professional music education programs in our country. The aim of the research is to be specialized in research, a field of research in research researches established abroad and abroad and researches need to be done on this subject. As a result of the descriptive research, 27 articles, 8 papers, 1 seminar paper, 1 master thesis, 2 doctoral dissertations on distance music education in the world were found to be written but no book was written. When the scientific researches are examined, it is found that the method is superior to the traditional method in terms of giving music education to the wider audiences at a lower cost, and that the synchronous and asynchronous distance education applications bring significant flexibility to the education-teaching process and the method is effective in both professional development and lifelong learning process. It is remarkable that the traditional method is seen as an inseparable part of the music education process.
