Bu çalışmanın amacı yabancılara Türkçe ve İngilizce öğretiminde kullanılan ders kitaplarını öğrenme alanlarına dağılımı açısından karşılaştırmaktır. Bu doğrultuda Yeni Hitit Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı ve Efekta General English ders kitapları örneklem olarak alınmıştır. Verilerin toplanması, analizi ve yorumlanmasında nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Yeni Hitit Yabancılar İçin Türkçe B1 ve B2 düzey ders kitaplarında yer alan okuma ve yazma becerisine yönelik etkinlik sayısının sözlü anlatım, dinleme ve karşılıklı konuşma becerisine yönelik etkinlik sayılarından fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca Efekta ders kitaplarında konuşma, dinleme ve sözlü anlatım becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik etkinlik sayısının daha fazla olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to compare the teaching books used in the teaching of Turkish and English to foreigners in terms of distribution to the fields of learning. In this direction, the New Hitit Foreigners' Turkish Curriculum and Effekta General English curriculum were taken as examples. In the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, document examination of quality research methods has been used. The study found that the number of activities for reading and writing skills included in the Turkish B1 and B2 level curricula for New Hitit foreigners was more than the number of activities for oral narration, listening and mutual speech skills. It has also been concluded that in the Effekta curriculum books there is more activity to improve speech, listening and verbal narrative skills.
