Bu çalışmada ebeveynlerin kaygı ve öznel iyi oluş düzeyleri ile ebeveynlik davranışları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini toplam 406 ebeveyn (260 anne ve 146 baba) oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, Genth Ebeveyn Davranış Ölçeği, Durumluk ve Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri, Pozitif Negatif Duygu Durum Ölçeği, Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS 22.0 programı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, annelerin sürekli kaygı düzeylerinin babalara göre daha yüksek olduğu, eğitim düzeyi ile meslek değişkenlerinin ebeveynlerin öznel iyi oluş, durumluk ve sürekli kaygı boyutlarında farklılık oluşturduğu, sosyo-ekonomik düzey ile aile tipi değişkenlerinin ebeveynlerin öznel iyi oluş düzeylerinde fark meydana getirdiği saptanmıştır. Ebeveyn davranış ölçeği ile öznel iyi oluş arasında pozitif ebeveynlik, davranış düzenleme ve otonomi alt boyutları ile pozitif yönlü zayıf; disiplin ve katı disiplin alt boyutları ile negatif yönlü ve zayıf bir ilişkinin varlığı belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra, durumluk kaygı boyutunda pozitif ebeveynlik, davranış düzenleme, olumsuz disiplin alt boyutları ile ve sürekli kaygı boyutunda ise davranış düzenleme ve olumsuz disiplin alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönlü ve zayıf bir ilişkinin varlığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca, ebeveynlerin öznel iyi oluşları ile durumluk kaygıları arasında pozitif yönlü ve düşük seviyede, sürekli kaygı ile negatif yönlü ve düşük düzeyde bir ilişkinin varlığı saptanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar tartışılarak, raporlanmıştır.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationships between parents' anxiety and subjective well-being levels and parenting behaviors. The sample of the study consists of a total of 406 parents (260 mothers and 146 fathers). Data were obtained using Genth Parental Behavior Scale, State and Trait Anxiety Inventory, Positive Negative Mood Scale, Life Satisfaction Scale and Personal Information Form. The analysis of the data obtained from the study was carried out with the SPSS 22.0 program. As a result of the research, it was determined that the trait anxiety levels of the mothers were higher than the fathers, the education level and occupation variables made a difference in the subjective well-being, state and trait anxiety dimensions of the parents, and the socio-economic level and family type variables made a difference in the subjective well-being levels of the parents. Parental behavior scale and subjective well-being were positively weak with positive parenting, behavior regulation and autonomy sub-dimensions; It was determined that there is a negative and weak relationship with discipline and strict discipline sub-dimensions. In addition, there was a positive and weak relationship between positive parenting, behavior regulation, negative discipline sub-dimensions in the state anxiety dimension and behavior regulation and negative discipline sub-dimensions in the trait anxiety dimension. Finally, it was determined that there was a positive and low relationship between the subjective well-being of the parents and their state anxiety, and a negative and low relationship with trait anxiety. The results obtained from the research were discussed and reported.
