So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Technological developments show their effects in our daily life in recent years. No doubt that these developments are significantly affected our educational life too. Using information technology products are increasing in the accounting education together with the traditional method as in all fields. Some of digital training tools which enriches and facilities the traditional method of education are Web-based training, PowerPoint presentations, video recording method. The purpose of this study is to identify which information technology method is most adopted by the generation Y students who are taking accounting courses. For this purpose, a survey was conducted to Ataturk University, Department of Business Administration students. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed by chi-square method using the SPSS 17.0 program. As a result of the study, Generation Y students give positive feedback about using both video, distance learning and web-based training (VUW) products as well as the use of traditional education with the use of information technology products
