As a result of the technologic developments use of technology in accounting education beside the traditional methods has become more important in recent years. Technology usage is not limited with the e-mail, computer applications or software. Accounting educators may share the course documents by using their homepages which are published on university domains or on their own addresses. This study investigates the usage of academic homepages in accounting education by the Turkish accounting educators with a case study. In the study firstly how can an academic web page be is defined. Then some examples of academic web pages prepared by the Turkish accounting educators are analyzed. Finally author’s web page, the cost accounting pages, and the results of a survey about that web page will be summarized as an example. The study also includes some suggestions about how can an academic webpage be beneficial for students in accounting education.
