Abstract:

Ouml;zet: Araştırmamıza konu oluşturan kırıkhan şehri Akdeniz Bouml;lgesinin Adana Bouml;luuml;muuml;nde, Hatay nbsp; idari alanının kuzeydoğusunda yer alır. Kırıkhan şehri Amanos Dağlarının eteklerinde, Amik Ovasına doğru hafif bir meyille alccedil;alan 190m yuuml;kseltiye sahip bir alana yerleşmiştir. Kırıkhan Doğu Anadolu Fay (DAF) hattının geccedil;tiği alan nbsp; uuml;zerinde kurulmuştur. Yıllık ortalama sıcaklık 19.1 o C dir.Yıllık yağış miktarı 570 mm yi bulurken, Kırıkhan da Akdeniz iklimi hakimdir. Ccedil;alışma alanında Maki uuml;yeleri yaygınlık gouml;stermektedir. İlccedil;enin başlıca akarsuları ovayı baştan başa kat eden Karasu ile ilccedil;e merkezinden geccedil;en mevsimlik Delibekirli Ccedil;ayıdır. Kırıkhan şehir merkezinin 2000 yılında 63615 nuuml;fusa sahip, erkek nuuml;fus (%50.2) nbsp; kadın (%49.8) nuuml;fusundan fazladır. Kırıkhan da Ekonomik faaliyet kolları iccedil;erisinde hizmet, ticaret ve sanayi kollarında istihdamın oranı %80,2 iken, tarım sektouml;ruuml;nde ccedil;alışanların oranı nbsp; sadece %19,8 dir. It is also in the northern part of city Hatay. It is situated at the bottom of nbsp; Amanos mountains, lowering with a gentle slope towards the plato of Amik. It is situated on the fault of Eastern nbsp; Anatolia. The avarage heat in a year is 19,1 o C Annual rain fall is about 570 mm.It has a Mediterranean climate. One of the main rivers of the city flowing through the entire part of the region is called Karasu and the other flowing in the city centre is called Delibekirli. The population of the city centre is 63615 in 2000. Male population (50.2 per cent) is more than female population (49.8 nbsp; per cent). City Kırıkhan has more industrial development than agriculture and service sectors. While the employment rate of the city in the sectors of Economics is %80.2 per cent, nbsp; the emploment rate in the agriculture sectors is %19.8 nbsp; per cent. nbsp; Key Words: Functional, City, Development
