Abstract:

Ouml;ZET 1921rsquo;de Ankararsquo;da kurulan Tuuml;rkiye Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti, yeni yapılanan Tuuml;rkiye Cumhuriyetirsquo;nin sosyal hizmet anlayışını ve ccedil;ocuk davasını gerccedil;ekleştirmek iccedil;in, ouml;ksuuml;z, yetim ve kimsesiz ccedil;ocukları himaye eder. Douml;nemin zor koşullarına rağmen yurt iccedil;i ve yurt dışında hızla teşkilatlanarak şubeler accedil;an Cemiyet, kendisine bağlı ccedil;eşitli kurumlarla ccedil;ok sayıda yetim ve kimsesiz ccedil;ocuğun maddi ve manevi himayesini sağlar. Cemiyet amaccedil;ladığı sağlık, eğitim ve kuuml;ltuuml;r hizmetini ccedil;ocuk ouml;lccedil;eğinde, anne, aile ve halka ulaştırır. Cemiyet maddi gelir elde etmenin yanında kendi tanıtımını da yapmak amacıyla -ouml;zellikle ccedil;ocuk bayramı ve haftasında- ccedil;eşitli sosyo-kuuml;ltuuml;rel etkinlikler duuml;zenler, kapsamlı yayınlar yapar. Uluslar arası organizasyonlara katılır ve ccedil;ocuk ile ilgili her gelişmeyi yakından takip eder. nbsp; ABSTRACT Tuuml;rkiye Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti (The Turkish Childrenrsquo;s Protection Society) established in Ankara in 1921, protects the orphan children in order to handle the child action and comprehension of the social service of the New Turkish Republic and in early Republican. In spite of the hard situations of the period the Society opened several departments in home and abroad keeps financial and moral protection of a lot of orphan children. It leads mother and public in terms of children about health, education and culture as its first aim. The Public Institution several socio-cultural activities, comprehensive publications especially in the child festival and its week, makes in the aim of its introduction as well as financial income. In addition this it attends the international organizations and deals with every progresses about children in a very closely.
