Abstract:

Ouml;z Kırgızlar Orta Asya'daki Muuml;sluuml;man Tuuml;rk boylarından biridir. Tuuml;rk dili ve tarihine ait kaynaklarda verilen bilgiler Kırgızların en eski Tuuml;rk boylarından biri olduğunu gouml;stermektedir. Kırgızlarla ilgili ilim duuml;nyasında ccedil;eşitli tartışmalar bulunmaktadır. Bunlardan biri Kırgız kelimesinin etimolojisidir. Bu kelimenin etimolojisi ile ilgili Tuuml;rkccedil;e, Arapccedil;a, Farsccedil;a kaynaklarda ccedil;ok sayıda bilgi bulunmaktadır. Bunların bir kısmı ilim duuml;nyasındaki tartışmalara, diğerleri de halk arasında ccedil;eşitli efsanelere dayanmaktadır. Bu yazıda, bilim adamlarının Kırgız kelimesinin etimolojisiyle ilgili ccedil;eşitli gouml;ruuml;şleri ouml;zetlenmiş; Kırgız adıyla ilgili efsanelere yer verilmiştir. Turkish language and history of the sources provided that Kyrgyzs are one of the oldest tribes around the Turks. There are various discussions with the Kyrgyzs in the scientific world. One of these is the etymology ofnbsp; "Kyrgyz" word. Related to the etymology of this word in Turkish, Arabic, Persian sources,nbsp; givesnbsp; numerous information.Some of tehese arenbsp; based on the discussion innbsp; scientific world andnbsp; some of the others are based on legends which are live in among the folk. In this paper, a variety of scientists opinions about the etymology ofnbsp; "Kyrgyz" word and this word's, which can be set off from legend,nbsp; etymologic analysis were trying to do.
