Abstract:

Lipoma is a rare neoplasm in the oral cavity. Fibrolipom is a histological lipom variation and are mostly asymptomatic lesions that affect the pancreas, seen between the ages of 40-60. Although the likelihood of recurrence and malignant transformation is very low, long-term monitoring is recommended in cases identified by the immune-histochemical examination of the 67 gene expression. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the clinical and histopathological findings of a fibrolipom case observed in the pancreas and to provide a literary collection on the subject. In the intraoral examination of the 74-year-old male patient, a painless injury was detected in the right spine mucus, at a diameter of about 1cm, in untouched, semi-strict, painless. As a result of the histopathological examination of the exhausted injury, the injury was diagnosed with a fibrolipom containing the expression of the gene ki-67. The aim of this article is to evaluate clinical and histopathological findings of a fibrolipoma case in the buccal mucosa and to present a review of relevant literature. In intraoral examination, a semi-firm and sessile painless lesion with 1 cm in sized in the right buccal mucosa of a 74-year-old male patient. The injury has been surgically excised and diagnosed as fibrolipoma with ki-67 gene expression in the histopathological examination.
