Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinde Siber Zorbalık ve Mağduriyet ile Sosyal Ağ Kullanım Amaçları Arasındaki İlişki

Bu çalışmada, hemşirelik öğrencilerinde siber zorbalık ve mağduriyet ile sosyal ağ kullanım amaçları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Kesitsel ve ilişkisel tarama desenindeki bu araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Ekim-Aralık 2018 tarihleri arasında bir hemşirelik bölümünde eğitim gören 509 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri araştırmacılar tarafından literatür incelenerek oluşturulan “Anket Formu”, “Yenilenmiş Siber Zorbalık Envanteri-II (YSZE-II)” ve “Sosyal Ağ Siteleri Kullanım Amacı Ölçeği (SASKAÖ)” ile toplanmıştır. Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20.09±1.09 ve %79’unun cinsiyeti kadındır. Öğrencilerin SASKAÖ ve alt boyutları ile YSZE-II alt boyutları arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmamıştır (p>0.05). YSZE-II alt boyutları olan “siber zorbalık” ile “siber mağduriyet” alt boyutları arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0.001). SASKAÖ’nün sosyal etkileşim ve iletişim amaçlı, tanıma ve tanınma amaçlı ve eğitim amaçlı alt boyutlarının kendi arasında anlamlı ilişki belirlenmiştir (p<0.001). Hemşirelik bölümü öğrencilerinin sosyal ağları, sosyal etkileşim ve iletişim amaçlı kullanma durumu daha fazladır.  Öğrencilerin sosyal ağ kullanımında, siber zorbalık durumu artarken siber mağduriyet durumları da artmaktadır.

Abstract:

This study aims to study the relationship between cyber harassment and victimity in nursing students and the purposes of social networking. The work group of this study in the cutting and relative scan pattern consists of 509 students studying in a nursing department between October and December 2018. The research data was collected with the "Anchorage Form", "Renewed Cyber Abuse Reserve-II (YSZE-II)" and "Social Network Usage Scale (SASKAÖ)" created by researchers by studying the literature. The average age of students is 20.09±1.09 and the gender of 79% is female. There was no meaningful relationship between the students’ SASKAÖ and the subdimensions and the YSZE-II subdimensions (p>0.05). There has been a meaningful relationship between the subdimensions of YSZE-II, “cybersecurity” and the subdimensions of “cybersecurity” (p<0.001). SASKAÖ’s social interaction and communication purposes, recognition and recognition purposes and educational purposes have established a meaningful relationship between themselves (p<0.001). The state of use of the nursing department of students for social networks, social interaction and communication purposes is greater.  In the use of social networks by students, cyber harassment is increasing while cyber victims are also increasing.

Aim of the study is to The investigate the relationship between the aims of use of social network sites with cyberbullying and cyber victimization in nursing students. Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 509 students in the first, second, third and fourth grades who were trained in the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the ……. University between October-December 2018. The research data were collected by the “Questionnaire Form” prepared by the researchers, the “Revised Cyber Bullying Inventory-II (RCBI-II)”, and the “Scale of Aims of Use of Social Network Sites and Communication Skills Scale (SAUSNS-CSS)”. There was no statistically significant relationship between the RCBI-II and sub-dimensions of RCBI-II and SAUSNS-CSS (P> 0.05). A statistically significant relationship was found between cyberbullying and cyber victimization which were the sub-dimensions of the RCBI-II (p<0.001). A statistically significant relationship was determined between the SAUSNS-CSS for social interaction and communication purposes, for recognition and recognition purposes and for educational purposes (p <0.001). Nursing students' social networks are more likely to use social networks for social interaction and communication. In the use of social networks, cyberbullying is increasing and cyber victimization is increasing.
