Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin beden eğitimi yatkınlıklarını öğretmen öğretim stiline göre incelemektir. Araştırmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 743 kız ve 734 erkek toplam 1477 öğrenci ile bu öğrencilerin beden eğitimi derslerine giren 8 kadın ve 21 erkek toplam 29 beden eğitimi öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada kullanılan veri toplama araçları “Beden Eğitimi Yatkınlık Ölçeği (Öncü, Gürbüz, Küçük-Kılıç ve Keskin, 2015)” ve “Öğretim Stili Ölçeği (Sarıtaş ve Süral, 2010)”‘dir. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistiksel yöntemler, t-testi ve ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda, ortaokul öğrencilerinin beden eğitimine ilişkin tutum ve öz-yeterliklerinin orta seviyenin üzerinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Beden eğitimi dersleri kadın beden eğitimi öğretmenleri tarafından yürütülen öğrencilerin beden eğitimi dersine ilişkin tutum ve öz-yeterliklerinin daha yüksek olduğu ve beden eğitimi derslerini yürüten öğretmenlerin yaşları büyüdükçe öğrencilerin beden eğitimi dersine ilişkin tutum ve öz-yeterliklerinin azaldığı görülmüştür. Otoriter öğretim stili düzeyi “yüksek” olan beden eğitimi öğretmenleri tarafından dersleri yürütülen öğrencilerin beden eğitimi dersine ilişkin tutum ve öz-yeterliklerinin daha düşük olduğu beden eğitimi dersleri rehber öğretim stili düzeyi “orta” olan beden eğitimi öğretmenlerince yürütülen öğrencilerin beden eğitimine ilişkin tutumlarının daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the physical education tendencies of high school students according to the teacher's teaching style. The research method has been used. The study group consisted of 743 girls and 734 men with a total of 1477 students and 8 women and 21 men with a total of 29 body education teachers who entered these students' body education courses. The data collection tools used in the study are the "Body Education Strongness Scale (First, Gürbüz, Small-Sweep and sharp, 2015)" and the "Teaching Style Scale (Sarıtaş and Süral, 2010)" . In the analysis of data, visual statistical methods, t-test and ANOVA were used. According to the findings obtained from the research, the attitude and self-capacity of high school students to physical education is above the average level. It has been seen that the attitudes and self-capacities of the students conducted by the teachers of the body training courses are higher and the attitudes and self-capacities of the students conducted by the teachers of the body training courses are reduced as the ages of the teachers conducted by the teachers of the body training courses grow. The level of authorized teaching style is "high" that the attitude and self-capacity of the students conducted courses by the body education teachers are lower; the body education courses guide the level of teaching style is "mediate" that the attitudes of the students conducted by the body education teachers are higher.

Examination Of Physical Education Predisposition Of Middle School Students According To Teacher Teaching Style

The purpose of this research is to examine physical education predispositions of middle school students according to teacher teaching style. The study group of the research included 1477 students, 743 girls and 734 boys, and 29 physical education teachers, 8 males and 21 females. The data collection instruments used in the research are “Physical Education Predisposition Scale (Öncü, Gürbüz, Küçük-Kılıç and Keskin, 2015)” and “Teaching Style Scale (Sarıtaş and Süral, 2010)”. In the analysis of data, descriptive statistical methods, t-test and ANOVA were used. According to findings obtained from the study, it is determined that middle school students are above the middle level of attitude and self-efficacy towards physical education. The students whose physical education classes are conducted by female physical education teachers have a higher attitude and self-efficacy towards physical education lesson, lastly as the ages of the teachers who carry out the physical education courses increase the attitudes and self-efficacy of the students towards the physical education course decreased. The attitudes and self-efficacy of the students who were taught by physical education teachers with "high" formal authority teaching style was lower, and the attitudes of the students towards the physical education course whose physical education courses were carried out by physical education teachers at the level of facilitator teaching style "middle" were higher.
