Cinematography is a term used to define the whole of the design in the filmmaking process. Imaging, fiction, lighting, decor, makeup, makeup, costume, sound, special effects, and many elements, one of the most important elements of this concept, which is formed with a particular view and integrity, is the framework, that is, the composition. The design of the objects that will be included within the frame, the furniture, the players, the colors requires serious work and testing in the pre-production process. The cinematographic framework is born from the relationships of the other elements with each other and reveals the director’s own point of view. In the creation and aesthetization of the composition within the frame, a third of the rule, the Fibonacci spiral, the horizontal line rule, the tissue, the rhythm, the uniformity, the foundation, and many rules and substances are involved. The two matters that came to the forefront to ensure aesthetics were symmetry and perspective. These two concepts have been used by many directors with different approaches since the birth of the cinema to this day. While the use of symmetry for Stanley Kubrick is widely spread in films, it is a tradition for directors like Steven Spielberg and Paul Thomas Anderson to follow a third of the rule in films they draw or to create frameworks in the Fibonacci spiral axis. The American independent director, Wes Anderson, also shows a film that fits these matters, primarily symmetry and perspective on frameworking. The main purpose of this research is to reveal the importance of cinematographic framework by discussing the concepts of symmetry and perspective in Wes Anderson's film axis, and to reveal how the use of symmetry and perspective transforms the cinematography in his films. In this study, which is a field research for discovery, the method of inter-film visual analysis was used; in the filmography of the director, the use of symmetry and perspective was supported by the accompaniment of images, not just to reveal aesthetic characteristics, but the importance that the director gave these two concepts in the personal narrative method was emphasized.
