Abstract:

Thro its history, Turks have established relations with many nations for various reasons, including economic, religious, political, and cultural reasons. Turks are in the top of the peoples in which the Turks have strong relationships. The relations between the Persians and the Turks go to the period before the Turks accepted Islamism. Especially due to the geographical proximity, various relationships between the Turks and the Persians began. As a result of this, many words have passed from Persian to Turkish. These past words are often widely used in the Turkish mouths, with various phonetic changes. In this study we discussed the sound events in the Persian quote words used in the mouths of Sivas. The study first examined scientific studies on the mouths of the Sivas and identified the words quoted in Persian in these works. After that, the data that we have received from these works and the results of the investigations are also included in the work. The language data collected was addressed under the titles "Sound Events Related to Celebrity" and "Sound Events Related to Unknown". Our main purpose in this short study is to show the use of the Persian quote words in the mouths of Sivas and to identify the main sound events in these quote words.
