Hanefî haber teorisinin temelleri, Küfe ekolünün önde gelen isimlerinden Îsâ b. Ebân ve Cessâs tarafından atılmış olmakla birlikte bu teorinin sistematik hale getirilmesi Hanefî usulünün kurucusu kabul edilen Debûsî, Pezdevî ve Serahsî üçlüsü ile mümkün olmuştur. Bu açıdan her üç müçtehidin yazmış oldukları usûl eserleri Hanefî fıkıh usûlünün klasik eserleri arasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Serahsî’nin yazmış olduğu fıkıh usûlü eseri, bir ders kitabı niteliğinde olmaktan ziyade konunun uzmanlarına hitap edecek tarzda ayrıntılı bir biçimde yazılmıştır. Serahsî kitabında Hanefî haber teorisini ele alırken bu üslubunu devam ettirmiş ve diğer usûl kitaplarında hiç ele alınmayan, ayrıntı kabul edilebilecek farklı konulara değinmiştir. Hanefî haber teorisinde çokça tartışılan, âhâd haberin kabulüne ilişkin ileri sürülen ‘râvinin fakih olması’ şartı üzerinde durması yanında daha çok mütevatir haber ve onun bilgi değerine önem atfetmiş ve konuyu bu noktada detaylandırmıştır. Biz bu çalışmada genel olarak Serahsî'nin, Hanefî haber teorisine ve dolayısıyla fıkıh usûlü ilmine sunmuş olduğu katkıyı tespit etmeye ve sunmaya çalışacağız.

The scripture is written in a detailed manner that will address the experts of the subject rather than in the nature of a curriculum. In his book he discussed the theory of Hanefî news and continued this style and referred to different subjects that could be accepted, which were never discussed in other books. Although the foundations of Khaber theory of Hanafi has been laid by Îsâ b. Ebân and Cessâs who are leading names of Kûfe school of thought, systematizing the theory has been realized by Debûsî, Pezdevî and Serahsî who are the founder members of the principles of Hanafi’s school of Islamic Jurisprudence. From this point, each books written by that three mujtahids on the principle of Islamic Jurispridence have a significant place among the important classical books on the principles of Islamic jurisprudence of Hanafi. The book writen by Serahsî on the principles Islamic Jurisprudence is not a course book, rather it is written in a detailed manner for the experts of this domain. While analyzing the khaber (report) theory of Hanafi school of thought, Serahsî has continued his existing manner about this issue and he has written about the subjects that are not mentioned in other books and can be seen as more detailed issues. In addition touching upon the alleged condition that ‘narrator should be mujtehid’ as to approving the report of one person (ahad khaber) which has been a discussed subject in the report theory (haber teorisi) of Hanafi school, Serahsî has attributed further importance to mutevatir khaber and its information value. In this study, we will try to identify and present the direct contribution of Serahsî to the report theory of Hanafi school of thought and indirect contribution to field of the Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence
