Abstract:

The study aims to determine the destination shopping preferences of Bulgarian tourists visiting the province of Kırklareli in one of the five provinces located in the European continent of Turkey and one of the border doors open to the Balkans and measure the levels of satisfaction. The research has shown that the selection of Bulgarian tourists has shown that almost all foreign tourists who come to the destination belong to this nation. A total of 200 survey forms have been submitted to tourists who visit the destination for this purpose. According to the SPSS data statistics program, which is widely used in social sciences studies, 80% of tourists are generally satisfied with the destination, have the intention to return to the destination and will recommend the destination to others. It has been determined that tourists have a low satisfaction with the authenticity/locality of the shopping places, the attitude of their staff, the suitability in terms of prices, the location, the level of solution/resolution of problems and the staff’s low satisfaction with the issues of foreign language skills. Tourists are satisfied with the availability of the shopping site, the guarantee of the shopping site's products and services and the reliability of the shopping site in terms of products and services.
