Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study teachers’ positive psychological capital perceptions and their dedication to the profession. Nicel has a relative study feature in the research scan model carried out by adopting the research approach. The research was conducted in the 2017-2018 educational year with a total of 374 teachers, including 167 women and 207 men, who worked in public schools (primary, secondary and high school) associated with Siirt. The data of the study was collected through the scales of "professional dedication" and "positive psychological capital". Spearman's Rho's test was applied from the correlation tests to determine the relationship between the teachers' positive psychological capital perceptions and their dedications to the profession. According to the findings of the research, the positive psychological capital perceptions of teachers were "very high" and their dedication to the profession was "high". The study found that there was a meaningful relationship between professional dedication and positive psychological capital perception in a positive direction at a medium level.
