Abstract:

Coronavirus pandemic is a continuing global health crisis due to COVID-19 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Although most patients affected by the virus have mild, flu-like symptoms, some patients have serious complications such as pneumonia, acute respiratory failure syndrome and hyperinflammation and cytokine storm syndrome resulting from organ insufficiency. The information on the pathology of the disease is still limited. In this collection, under the existing data, COVID-19 pathogenesis is identified.
