Abstract:

This study addresses the problems of the writer’s et-Taʿlīḳāt, which is traditionally attributed to el-Fārābī, and offers interviews for a wider research to be done. The thesis of the study is that the relative of the work to al-Fārābī is problematic and that the author is not al-Fārābī. In this regard, the study evaluates the Tabakât sources in which the previously mentioned work is mentioned and discusses the subject of how the work is attributed to al-Fārābī in these sources along with its issues. After that, et-Taʿlīḳāt is compared with an example with another work that is attributed to Ibn Sīnā with the same name and which is similar to the Muhteva. As a result, this study suggests that the name of the work is grateful for the unregular quotes made in various ways from the work attributed to Ibn Sīnā and that the first assessments suggest that it is not true that the work is attributed to al-Fārābī.
