Küreselleşmenin tüm dünyayı etkisi altına aldığı günümüz dünyası, sahip olduğu avantajlar ve dezavantajlar ekseninde şekillenmektedir. Teknolojik ilerlemelerin paralelinde ilerleyen nüfus artış hızı, tüketim fazlalığı ve doğal kaynakların tüketimi gibi birçok sorun da ortaya çıkmaktadır. Küresel sermayenin egemenliğinde olan küreselleşme politikaları onları destekleyenler için liberal ekonominin bir gereği olarak görülmektedir. Diğer taraftan küresel sermaye karşıtları bu politikaları sorgulamakta ve karşı tavır almaktadır. Küresel sermaye bütün dünyayı hammadde olarak görmekte yoksul ülkelerin vatandaşlarını da ucuz emek gücü olarak kullanmakta onlara gereken emek hakkını vermemekte, iş güvenliği sağlamamaktadır. Küreselleşmenin olumsuz etkilerine tepki olarak dikkat çekici eylemlerde bulunan aktivistler, dünya kamuoyunda bir farkındalık yaratma çabası içindedirler. Bazı aktivist ve protest sanat yapan sanatçılar, küresel sermayeye karşı, adaletsizliklere ve anti-demokrasiye karşı günümüz dünyasında bunu sorgulayıcı roller üstlenmişlerdir. Bu makalede, küreselleşme karşıtı aktivistlerden olan Banksy’in çalışmalarının çağdaş dünya ekseninde oluşturduğu etkiler sorgulanmaktadır. Yenidünya düzeninde yaratılan eşitsizlik, adaletsizlik, savaş, yoksulluk gibi olumsuzluklara ve kapitalizm gibi konulara bir iletişim aracı olarak grafiti sanatıyla karşı çıkan sanatçının hareketli sanatının toplumdaki rolü üzerinde durulmaktadır.
The world of today, where globalization affects the whole world, is shaped in the axis of the advantages and disadvantages it has. Parallel to technological advances, there are also many problems as the growth rate of the population, excess consumption and consumption of natural resources. Globalization policies under the domination of global capital are seen as a necessity for the liberal economy for those who support them. On the other hand, global capital opponents are questioning these policies and taking an opposite attitude. The global capital sees the whole world as a raw material and does not give them the right to work that they need to use the citizens of the poor countries as a cheap labour force, and does not provide work safety. The activists who are taking notable actions in response to the negative effects of globalization are in an effort to raise awareness in the world’s public. Some activists and protest artists have assumed questioning roles against global capital, injustice and anti-democracy in today’s world. This article questiones the effects of Banksy’s work of anti-globalization activists on the contemporary world axis. In the new world order, inequality, injustice, war, poverty, and the role of the artist who opens the graphite art as a means of communication to negative issues such as capitalism is focused on the role of the artist who opens the graphite art in society.
Today's world, where globalization affects everywhere, is shaped by its advantages and disadvantages. Many problems such as population growth rate, excess consumption, and exploitation of natural resources are also emerging in parallel with technological advances. Globalization policies, which are dominated by global capital, are seen as a requirement of the liberal economy for those who support them. On the other hand, dissidents of global capital question and oppose these policies. Global capital sees the whole world as raw material, uses the citizens of poor countries as a cheap labor force, does not give them the necessary labor right, and does not provide job security. Activists who take remarkable actions in response to the negative effects of globalization are to raise awareness in the world public opinion. Some activists and artists who create protest art have taken on questioning roles against global capital and injustices in today's world. In this article, the effects of Banksy's work, one of the anti-globalization activists, on the contemporary world axis are questioned. The role of the artist's mobile art in society, which opposes the negativities such as inequality, injustice, war, poverty that created in the new world order and issues such as capitalism with graffiti art as a way of communication, is emphasized.
