Abstract:

Values contribute to the effectiveness of individuals living as a social being in communicating with those around them, determining the position of individuals in society. Individuals need to be aware of the degree of development of the world culture in order to be able to dominate their own culture. This can also occur by the acceptance of universal values by the person. In this study 8. Class T.C. Inkılap History and Atatürkçülük curriculum aims to study the values of peace and independence. In this study, a quality research approach was adopted. The method of data collection is the method of document examination, which corresponds to the purpose of the research, and the method of visual analysis is used for analysis. The work material is 2020-2021 education- teaching year in high schools undertaken by the Ministry of National Education by Nev Book Publishing. Class T.C. Inkılap History and Atatürkçülük lesson was used. With the analysis of the findings obtained, the texts in the book and the measurement evaluation sections have been detailedly studied in the value of independence of 59, from the value of peace to a total of 20 value expressions. These findings have shown that the value of independence, the value of peace, has been overwhelmed in the whole of the book.
