İslam düşünce tarihinde tehâfütler üzerine çeşitli tartışmalar yapılmıştır. Kimine göre bu gelenek, İslam Dünyasında felsefeye karşı bir reaksiyon, felsefesinin gelişmesini engelleyen bir olgu olarak kabul edilmiştir. Kimine göre ise, tehâfüt geleneğinin bizzat kendisi felsefî bir eylemdir. Biz bu çalışmamızda önce düşünce tarihinde yazılan tehâfütler hakkında genel bir bilgi aktarımı yaptıktan sonra, tehâfüt geleneğinin oluştuğu ortam konusunda tespitler yapacağız. Eleştiri merkezli felsefi bir nitelikte yazılan tehâfütlerin Osmanlı dönemindeki etkilerine de yer vereceğiz. Daha sonra bu tespitlerden hareketle, tehâfüt geleneğinin İslam dünyasındaki doğurduğu sonuçları belirleyip, değerlendirmesini yapacağız. Bunlardan hareketle de İslam dünyasındaki tehafüt geleneğinin İslam düşüncesi üzerinde ki olumlu ya da olumsuz etkisinin ne olduğunu belirlemeye çalışacağız.
There have been various discussions in the history of Islamic thought. According to some, this tradition is considered a reaction to philosophy in the Islamic world, a fact that prevents the development of philosophy. In other words, it is a philosophical act of the tradition itself. After we have done a general transfer of information about the threats written in the history of thought in this study, we will make detections about the environment in which the threat tradition is formed. We will also discuss the influences of a critical-centric philosophical nature of the dangers written in the Ottoman era. Then, by moving from these findings, we will determine and evaluate the consequences of the tradition of hazafut in the Islamic world. With these movements we will also try to determine what the positive or negative impact of the conservation tradition in the Islamic world on the Islamic thought is.
