Bu çalışmanın amacı iş dışı internet ve teknoloji kullanımı olarak tanımlanan sanal kaytarma davranışları ve özyeterlilik algısı arasındaki ilişkinin var olup olmadığını tespit etmektir. Bu amaca ulaşmak için Sanal Kaytarma ve Özyeterlilik ölçekleri Balıkesir’in Gönen ilçesindeki hizmet sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir firmanın 115 çalışanına uygulanmıştır. Yüz yüze anket yöntemiyle elde edilen veriler bir paket program yardımı ile analiz edilmiş ve çeşitli bulgular elde edilmiştir. Yapılan uygulama sonucunda elde edilen bulgular incelendiğinde, özyeterlilik algısının sanal kaytarma davranışının alt boyutu olan önemli sanal kaytarma davranışı üzerinde negatif bir etkisinin olduğu tespit edilirken diğer yandan özyeterlilik algısının sanal kaytarma davranışının diğer boyutu olan önemsiz sanal kaytarma davranışı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonunda, bundan sonraki araştırmalar ve yöneticiler için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between self-efficacy perception and cyberloafing behaviors defined as the use of non-business internet and technology. To achieve this goal, Cyberloafing and Self-Efficacy scales were applied to 115 employees of a company operating in the service sector in Gönen district of Balıkesir. Data obtained by face-to-face survey method were analyzed with a package program and various findings were obtained. As a result of the research, it has been determined that It has been determined that self-efficacy perception has a negative effect on serious cyberloafing which is the sub-dimension of cyberloafing behavior. On the other hand, it has been determined that self-efficacy perception does not have a significant effect on minor cyberloafing which is another sub-dimension of cyberloafing behavior. At the end of the study, suggestions were made for future researches and managers.
