Abstract:

The research was carried out with the aim of studying the relationship between teachers' character training competence beliefs and creativity levels and communication skills. In addition, the study also studied whether teachers' personality education competence beliefs show significant differences according to the type of school in which teachers work and the age group in which they work. The research is in the relational research model. The universe of research consists of 754 pre-school teachers who work in the official primary schools associated with the Ministry of National Education in Ankara or Keçiören in the 2017-2018 Education-Teaching year, independent primary schools and private pre-school educational institutions. The sample of the study consists of 350 pre-school teachers selected through simple random sample. As a data collection tool in the research, it was used; "Personal Information Form", "Caracter Education Competence Faith Scale", "Individual Self-Evaluation Scale in terms of creativity" and "Communication Skills Evaluation Scale". The research finds that teachers' personality education competence beliefs do not differ significantly according to the age group in which teachers work (p>0.05); that teachers do not differ significantly according to the type of school in which they work (p<0.05) and that the difference is in favour of teachers working in the private pre-school education institution. In addition, it has been found that teachers' personality education is a meaningful relationship between the beliefs of competence and the levels of creativity in a positive direction and in a medium level; that teachers' personality education is a meaningful relationship between the beliefs of competence and the communication skills in a positive direction and in a medium level.
