8. SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN YAZILI ANLATIM BECERİLERİNDE YER VERDİĞİ ANLATIM TEKNİKLERİ İLE DÜŞÜNCEYİ GELİŞTİRME YOLLARI

Abstract:

Anlatım teknikleri ile düşünceyi geliştirme yolları yazılı anlatımın niteliğini ve başarısını doğrudan etkileyen unsurlar arasındadır. Bu çalışma 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin yazılı anlatım becerilerinde tercih ettiği anlatım teknikleri ile düşünceyi geliştirme yollarını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Veriler 2016-2017 Eğitim Öğretim Yılı içinde Aydın ili Efeler ilçesinde MEB’e bağlı ortaokullarda okuyan 328 öğrencinin yazılı dokümanlarından elde edilmiştir. Bulgular tablolarda gösterilmiş, verilerin analizinde sıklık oranları kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bir ders saatiyle (40 dakika) ve düz yazı metinleri ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Serbest ve yaratıcı yazma yöntemleri ile elde edilen verilerin 142 tanesi olay yazısı 186’sı ise düşünce yazısıdır. Yazılı dokümanlar anlatım teknikleri bakımından dört temel unsura, düşünceyi geliştirme yolları bakımından ise 15 anlatım yoluna göre incelenmiştir. Düşünceyi geliştirme yolları öğrencilerin çalışmalarında yer verdiği uygulamalar çerçevesinde belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda tür sınıflaması yapılmaksızın yazılı anlatım becerilerinde en çok kullanılan tekniğin öyküleyici anlatım, düşünceyi geliştirme yolunun ise görsellerden yararlanma olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Buna karşın en az kullanılan teknik tartışma; düşünceyi geliştirme ise sözel bilimsel ifadelerden yararlanmadır.

Abstract:

The narrative techniques and ways to develop thought are among the elements that directly affect the nature and success of written narrative. This study aims to reveal ways to develop thought with the narrative techniques that students of 8th grade prefer in their written narrative skills. Research is an imaginary study in the screening model. The data were obtained from the written documents of 328 students studying in MEB-related secondary schools in the Aydin or Efeler district during the 2016-2017 educational teaching year. The findings are shown in the tables, the frequency rates were used in the analysis of the data. The research is limited to an hour of lesson (40 minutes) and straight text. Of the data obtained by free and creative writing methods, 142 are events and 186 are thought writings. Written documents are studied by four basic elements in terms of narrative techniques, and 15 in terms of ways to develop thought. The ways of developing thought are determined in the framework of the applications that students participate in their work. The research results have found that the most commonly used technique in written narrative skills without type classification is narrative, and the way to develop thought is the use of visuals. Nevertheless, the least used technical discussion; the development of thought is the benefit of verbal scientific expressions.

The Ways Of Thinking Development With Expression Styles Located In The Written Expressions Of The 8th Grade Students

Expression styles and ways of developing thought are among the factors directly affecting the quality and success of written expression. This study aims to reveal the ways in which 8th grade students develop their thinking with their preferred expression styles in their written expressions. Research is a descriptive study in the screening model. Data were obtained from the written documents of 328 students studying in MEB-affiliated secondary schools in Efeler Country, Aydın Province in 2016-2017 Education Year. Results have been shown in the tables. In the analysis of the data, frequency rates have been used. The research is limited to one lesson hour (40 minutes) and prose texts. 142 of the data obtained by free and creative composition methods are event writings and 186 of them are think piece. Written documents were analyzed according to four basic factors in terms of expression styles and 15 ways of thinking development. The ways of thinking development were determined within the framework of the practices that students place in their work. As a result of the research, it is determined that the most used style of expression without type classification is narrative expression, and the most commonly way of thinking development is to make use of the visuals. However, the least used style of expression is the discussion, and the least thinking development is to make use of verbal scientific expressions.
