Özet Bu çalışmada, Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı bünyesinde bulunan Ulusal Tez Merkezi sistemine kayıtlı 2009-2022 yılları arasında tıbbi dokümantasyon ve sekreterlik alanında çalışılmış lisansüstü tezler içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamına on dört adet yüksek lisans tezi, iki adet tıpta uzmanlık tezi ve bir adet doktora tezi olmak üzere toplamda on yedi adet lisansüstü tez çalışması dâhil edilmiştir. Bu tezlerde kullanılan araştırma yöntemleri, tezlerin türleri, şehir, tez danışmanı unvanı, üniversite, tez yayım yılı, tez sayfa sayısı, üniversite türü ve çalışmaların sonuçları gibi boyutların incelenerek var olan durumun belirlenmesi ve ileriki süreçlerde yapılacak çalışmalara yol gösterici olması amaçlanmaktadır. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda tıbbi dokümantasyon ve sekreterlik konusunda doktora ve tıpta uzmanlık tez çalışmalarının sayısı yüksek lisans tez çalışmaları sayısına göre çok daha az olduğu, bu konuda 2009-2022 yılları arasında en çok çalışmanın Beykent Üniversitesi’de ve şehir olarak da İstanbul’da çalışıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Devlet üniversitelerinde bu konu hakkındaki çalışmaların vakıf üniversitelerine göre daha fazla olduğu, en fazla çalışmanın 2019 yılında yayımlandığı, lisansüstü çalışmalarda en çok nicel yöntemin kullanıldığı ve tez danışmanı olarak Profesör Doktor unvanına sahip öğretim üyeleri tarafından çalışmaların yürütüldüğü belirlenmiştir
In this study, graduate theses studied in the field of medical documentation and secretariat between 2009-2022 registered in the National Thesis Center system within the Presidency of the Higher Education Council were studied by the method of content analysis. The study includes fourteen master theses, two specialty theses in medicine and one doctoral thesis, and a total of ten postgraduate theses. The research methods used in these theses are intended to be a guide to the study of the dimensions such as the types of the theses, the city, the title of the thesis consultant, the university, the thesis year of publication, the number of the thesis pages, the university type and the results of the studies, and to determine the existing situation and lead to the work to be done in the future processes. The number of doctoral and medical specialty thesis studies in medical documentation and secretariat is much less than the number of master thesis studies, in this regard the most of the studies between 2009-2022 years have been found in Beykent University and as a city in Istanbul. The study on this subject in state universities is more than founding universities, the most study was published in 2019, the most quantitative method was used in postgraduate studies and the study was conducted by teachers with the title of Professor Doctor as a thesis consultant.
Abstract In this study, postgraduate theses, which were studied in the field of medical documentation and secretarial work between 2009 and 2022, registered in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education were examined by content analysis method. A total of seventeen postgraduate theses, including fourteen master's theses, two medical specializations, and one doctoral thesis, were included in the scope of the study. It is aimed to determine the existing situation by examining the dimensions such as the research methods used in these theses, the types of theses, the city, the title of the thesis advisor, the university, the year of publication of the thesis, the number of the thesis pages, the type of university and the results of the studies, and to guide the studies to be done in the future. As a result of the examinations, it has been determined that the number of doctorates and medical specialization theses on medical documentation and secretarial work is much less than the number of master theses, on medical documentation and secretarial work is much less than the number of master thesis, and the most studies on this subject between the years 2009-2022 were studied in Beykent University and in Istanbul as a city, has been done. It has been determined that there are more studies on this subject in state universities than foundation universities, the most studies were published in 2019, the most quantitative method was used in postgraduate studies, and the studies were carried out by faculty members with the title of Professor Doctor as thesis advisor.
