KTS tanısı alıp olası sekonder nedenler dışlandıktan sonra bilek kanalı enjeksiyon tedavisini kabul eden tüm bireylere tedavi öncesi ve sonrasında Görsel Analog Skala (VAS), Boston Karpal Tünel Sendromu Anketi, LANNS ağrı skalası (Leeds Asseessment of Neuropathic Symptoms and Signs), Pittsburg Uyku Kalite İndeksi (PUKİ), Uykusuzluk Şiddet İndeksi (IŞİ), Uyku Hijyeni İndeksi (UHİ), Epworth Uykululuk Skalası, Beck Depresyon Skalası, Beck Anksiyete Skalası uygulandı.
Target: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (KTS) is the most common trap neuropathy. It is a complex syndrome formed by the compression of the median nerve in the wrist area. Depending on the hole neuropathy degree, symptoms such as increasing pain, paresthesia, hypoesthesia, paresis and muscle atrophy can be observed at night. In our clinical practice, we also see the negative effects of this syndrome on sleep. The effects of non-invasive or invasive treatments on sleep are generally known. This study was aimed at exploring the effect of KTS therapy on sleep. Instrument and Method: Our study assessed the potential effects on sleep by injection therapy by arms channel of patients diagnosed with CTS clinically and electrophysiologically in the neurology clinic. All individuals who received the KTS diagnosis and the possible secondary causes were excluded and accepted the injection treatment by the arm channel were applied before and after treatment Visual Analog Scale (VAS), Boston Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Survey, Leeds Asseessment of Neuropathic Symptoms and Signs (LANNS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PUKI), Sleep Intensity Index (ICI), Sleep Hygiene Index (ICI), Epworth Sleep Scale, Beck Depression Scale, Beck Anxiety Scale. 29 patients (2 men and 27 women) were taken to the study. After the treatment in individuals with the VAS, FDS, Boston, LANNS values, PUKI, ISI, UHI were also statistically significantly decreased. The result: Sleep hygiene in KTS patients is negatively affected and the healing effect on the quality of sleep that is deteriorated by the injection treatment of the wrist canal is observed.
