Bu çalışmada üniversite öğrencilerinin okul memnuniyetleri ile yaşam doyum düzeylerinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Okul memnuniyeti öğrencilerin okulları için yapmış oldukları genel bir değerlendirmeyi ifade ederken, aynı zamanda üniversitelerinden ne derece memnun olduklarını göstermektedir. Öğrencilerin üniversitelerinden memnuniyetlerinde üniversite binası, teknolojik imkanlar, fiziki durum, akademisyen davranışları, yurt ve yemekhane olanakları gibi birçok faktör etkili olmaktadır. Yaşam doyumu ise bireyin bütün yaşamından hangi derecede memnun olduğunu olumlu veya olumsuz değerlendirmesidir. Diğer bir deyişle bireyin ulaşmak istedikleri ile elde ettikleri arasındaki farkı ifade etmektedir. Çalışmanın katılımcıları 176 üniversite öğrencisinden oluşmuştur. Çalışma nicel yaklaşım kapsamında ilişkisel tarama yöntemine dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Betimsel bir özellik taşıyan araştırmada öğrencilerin üniversite memnuniyetleri ile yaşam doyumları betimlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin üniversitelerinden memnun oldukları, buna karşım yaşamlarını orta düzeyde memnun olarak değerlendirdikleri görülmüştür. Okul memnuniyeti ve yaşam doyumu arasında yüksek düzeyde pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki söz konusudur. Diğer bir deyişle, öğrencilerin yaşam doyumları arttıkça üniversite memnuniyetlerinde de artış olmaktadır. Araştırmada ulaşılan diğer bir sonuç yaşam doyumunun okul memnuniyetinin önemli bir yordayıcısı olduğu yönündedir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin okul memnuniyetlerinin yaş değişkenine göre istatistiki açıdan anlamlı olarak farklılaştığı, sınıf ve cinsiyet değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılaşmanın olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Yaşam doyumunun ise, yaş, sınıf ve cinsiyet değişkenine göre ise istatistiki açıdan farklılaşmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study aims to investigate the school satisfaction of university students and the level of life satisfaction. School satisfaction represents a general assessment of what students have done for their schools, while also shows how satisfied they are with their universities. The satisfaction of students from their universities is influenced by many factors such as university building, technological facilities, physical condition, academic behavior, home and dining facilities. The satisfaction of life is the assessment of how positive or negative the individual is satisfied with the whole life. In other words, the individual expresses the difference between what they want to reach and what they get. The study consisted of 176 students. The study was carried out on the basis of the relative scan method in the context of the quantum approach. The study, which has a visual characteristic, depicts students’ university satisfaction and life satisfaction. The research has shown that students are satisfied with their universities, and that they are satisfied with their lives at a medium level. There is a meaningful relationship between school satisfaction and life satisfaction at a high level of positive direction. In other words, as the student’s life satisfaction increases, the university satisfaction also increases. Another result in the study is that life satisfaction is an important contributor to school satisfaction. It has also been determined that students’ school satisfaction varies statistically significantly according to age variables, and there is no significant differentiation according to class and gender variables. The conclusion is that the satisfaction of life is not statistically different according to age, class and gender variables.
In this study, it was aimed to investigate the school satisfaction and life satisfaction levels of university students. While school satisfaction expresses a general evaluation of students for their school, it also shows how satisfied they are with their university. Many factors such as university building, technological facilities, physical condition, academician behavior, dormitory and cafeteria facilities affect students' satisfaction with their university. Life satisfaction, on the other hand, is the positive or negative evaluation of the degree to which an individual is satisfied with his or her whole life. In other words, it expresses the difference between what an individual wants to achieve and what he has achieved. The participants of the study consisted of 176 university students. The study was carried out based on the relational screening method within the scope of the quantitative approach. In this descriptive study, students' university satisfaction and life satisfaction were described. As a result of the research, it was seen that the students were satisfied with their university, but they evaluated their lives as moderately satisfied. There is a highly positive and significant relationship between school satisfaction and life satisfaction. In other words, as students' life satisfaction increases, their university satisfaction also increases. Another result of the research is that life satisfaction is an important predictor of school satisfaction. In addition, it was determined that the school satisfaction of the students differed statistically significantly according to the age variable, and there was no significant difference according to the class and gender variable. It was concluded that life satisfaction did not differ statistically according to age, class and gender.
