Abstract:

Abstract:

In the era of new communication technologies, the virtual assets of museums are rapidly developing through technical and social perspectives, especially through their websites. The virtual museum has now begun to redefine itself in its web systems. Web-based development processes had a serious impact on both visitors and museum staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors have become users known as virtual visitors. The museums have begun using different systems, such as ethics, artistically compiled posts and other kinds of sharing, to reach more people from social media while preserving all their traditional followers. The aim of this study is to identify the possible outcomes of the museum activities on the subject and to help understand the effect of virtual museum awareness through a data mining process. For this purpose, an extensive scan of space, including game-like environments and similar digitalization technologies and platforms, has been used to understand the virtual existence of museums. The information obtained from the scan of the carried out area has shown that museums are trying to unite themselves with social media users through original labels and posts. This has to develop a more accurate way for the data mining section of the study. To analyze the output of awareness, the data mining through Twitter has been used with labels linked to the virtual museum. An example method has been used to obtain data from Twitter without using third-party online software or plugins. Work, likes, repeated messages, speakers, visual media or other kinds of sharing records are limited to analyzing open posts to anyone without. In order to make the review on Twitter properly, the date range has been identified through the virtual museum search results in Google Trends. To learn the maximum effect, all tweet, retweet and mention are counted separately. The results have shown that the #virtualmuseum label has gained greater awareness about the use of social media globally compared to the previous pandemic.
