Abstract:

Time management is one of the impressive roles in coaches showing their team management skills. This is the work of the Turkish Super League and TFF 1. The goal is to study the level of time management of the coaches working in the sub-structure of the league. Examples of the study are found in the Turkish Super League, Adanaspor, Osmanlıspor, Youth Association, Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş, Gaziantepspor, Alanyaspor and TFF 1. In the league, Adana Demirspor, Samsunspor, Eskişehirspor, Gazişehir Gaziantep Football Club has formed 109 male coaches working in the substructions of the teams. The study was developed by Britton and Tesser (1991) and adapted to Turkish by Alay and Koçak (2002). According to the findings obtained from the study, when examined by age, education levels, year of experience, income status, civil status, club level variables, there was no statistically meaningful difference between the groups (p>0.05). According to the variable of professional football play/playing, there is a statistically significant difference between the groups. by p<0.05 Solitary football coaches have a higher level of time management in their lower time attitudes compared to married football coaches. It has been found that there is no statistically meaningful difference between time planning and time-consumers in the lower dimensions (p>0.05).

The aim of this study is to determine the time management level of Turkish Super League and Turkish Football Federation 1st League Soccer Coaches working in the youth setup. The sample group of this study consists of the coaches 109 males working in the youth setup of Adanaspor, Osmanlıspor, Gençlerbirliği, Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş, Gaziantepspor, Alanyaspor football clubs in the Turkish Super League and Adana Demirspor, Samsunspor, Eskişehirspor, Gazişehir Gaziantep football clubs in the Turkish Football Federation 1st League. Time Management Inventory developed by Britton and Tesser (1991) and adapted to Turkish by Alay and Koçak (2002) was used in this study. According to the findings of the study, when the age, education levels, years of experience, income status, marital status, club level were examined according to the variables, no statistically significant difference was found between the groups (p>0.05). There was a statistically significant difference between the groups according to the professional football playing / non-playing variable (p<0.05). It was found that single football coaches had higher time management level than married football coaches. There was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of time planning and time wasting subscales (p>0.05).
