Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı; Ankara Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Fakültesi Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Bölümü öğrencilerinin öğrenme stillerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın verileri, Kolb 1985 tarafından geliştirilen, daha sonra da Akkoyunlu ve Aşkar 1993 tarafından Türkçe’ye çevrilerek, güvenilirlik çalışması yapılan Öğrenme Stilleri Envanteri ve oluşturulan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Kişisel bilgi formu ve Envanter yoluyla toplanan verilerin analizinde; frekans, yüzde, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve çoklu karşılaştırma yöntemlerinden en küçük önemli fark yöntemi ve t-testi kullanılmıştır. Bu analizler sonucunda öğrencilerin; %46,8’inin Ayrıştıran Öğrenme Stili’ne sahip oldukları ve yaşlarına göre öğrenme stilleri arasında anlamlı bir farkın olduğu bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin cinsiyetleri, mezun oldukları lise türü ve mezun oldukları lise branşlarına göre öğrenme stilleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır.

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to determine learning styles of students in Computer and Instructional Technologies Education Department of Educational Sciences Faculty of Ankara University. Research data was obtained by using Learning Styles Inventory developed by Kolb 1985 which was later translated and adapted to Turkish by Akkoyunlu and Aşkar 1993 the reliability study of the inventory was also performed by these researchers and Personal Information Form developed for this research. In the analyses of the data, gathered by Personal Information Form and Inventory, frequency, percentage, one-way variance analysis, the least significant difference method among the multiple comparison methods and t-test have been carried out. At the end of these analyses, it was observed that 46,8% of students have converging learning styles and also there is statistical significance within their learning styles according to the ages of students. On the other hand, it was found out that there is no significant difference within their learning styles according to their genders and types and branches of high schools that they had graduated from
